Welcome to team Orange everyone! Let's kick purple's butt :)

I vow to do my best to succeed at all challenges and if all I do is come on here to post in my diary and on this challenge regularly that is what I shall do.

After reading the main thread for this challenge...seems I must update my details by 5PM my time on Saturday - this may be hard but I shall do my best! Just need to make a habit when I wake up on Saturday to weigh in and post right away.

So excited for the first challenge tomorrow!

When I consider your situation - I really cannot see myself wanting to sit and evaluate scoresheets at midnight... I will give a further 8 hours for everyone and make the deadline 8am Sunday morning GMT. I suspect that this will make things less rushed for people that work on Saturdays and are in a lot of different time-zones... :)
 
Sweet :) That works! Though really I'd be posting that mornings weight and everything done until the day before, but the odd times with busy mornings it may take me longer. But the extra time will definitely help, thanks :)
 
So now that the main thread is updated let's get ready for tomorrow and coming weeks :)

I may have trouble getting full points for the exercising but will try to up my game for the benefit of myself and our team. Hopefully this will be the motivation I need to get off my butt and move!

The week 1 task is easy, I think we can all do this :) I will be marking down on paper on in a memo on my phone every time I eat or drink anything starting tomorrow morning. I was doing this on MFP but have stopped and I think I need to start again.

The moods for this week may be harder but I think it's another great habit. When we eat badly - how are we feeling? When we eat healthy - same thing.

Total points we can earn in a week is 41 not include weight loss - 20 for exercises and 21 (3x7 days) for the weekly tasks.

WE CAN DO THIS :D
 
I'll have a difficult time with the logging this first week as I am out of town, but I'll do my best. I know I'll have max exercise points for the week and I should lose weight.

You can bet on Omega getting max points and encouraging all her teammates to do the same. She had me making max points in previous contests so we will need to work hard to win. I'm ready and quite excited! I'll weigh in in the morning.
 
Ahh, there is nothing like some friendly competition to jump-start things. :)

I'll probably do well with the exercise and (possibly) weight as well.

Logging the food is going to be a pain for me, though, not because I can't do it, but because I tend to do rather extreme stuff, and with my low-carb past I don't really have a great intake of fruit/vegetables anymore. :leaving:

I know that there will be someone out there that will read my log and cringe in horror... :biggrinjester:

But anyways, let's all do our best. This one is gonna be a lot of fun. :)

Woke in a good mood this morning. The weight is down to 324.8 (-8.4 pounds so far in January) and the weather is pleasant and I'm looking forward to my run today. I'll update only if my mood changes, but it feels rather bulletproof today.

I went to Friday's with a few people after the gym and I had to order quick, going out to eat right now stresses me a bit. I don't like not knowing what the calories are or having to look them up while at the table. I saw BBW flatbread and saw under 750 Cal so I went with it. Turns out it was only 460 Calories and pretty filling and and tasty, so in the end it worked out but i would have rather had something I made at home.

Week 1

Saturday, January 18, 2014.

I ate kinda badly yesterday's night, but thankfully didn't gain weight.

Weight81.6 Kg (179.8 Lbs), this is my starting weight.
Food and Drinks.Only water.

I fasted today. I'll probably be back to regular eating tomorrow, but I'm playing with different ideas.
Mood.Fairly neutral for most of the day. I felt a little tired and inclined to eat by mid-day, but it went away and I felt fine for the rest of the day.
Exercise.80 minutes (1h 20min) of walking at normal pace, and 42 minutes of yoga class.

ive been in a good mood today however i now have a nasty eye infection so im spending the rest of the day in bed!
