Way to go, Pinky! Glad you're back! Kind of missed you since our challege days! :)

Are you still doing that really strict diet, or are you off it now? How's exercise going?

Everytime you're feeling depressed, instead of picking up choclate bar, get on this forum or better yet, go to the gym! :) Not only will it help relieve depression, it will also make you a step closer to your goal! :)

Hey good to see you're going to give in another shot - you can do it this time, you just have to promise to stick to it! And come talk to us when you're feeling like 'cheating' - you can do it! :)

Do you remember on Legally Blonde, when Elle Woods said that exercise creates Endorphines which create happy people? That is probably the most profound comment I have ever heard. I always think about that statement and I tend to believe her. After my workouts, I feel totally rejuvenated and full of happiness like I've accomplished something. Yes motivation is hard, but once you create a good habit, it feels so great that you just want to keep doing it.

Keep your chin up. We are rooting for you.:)

That is really a key in exercising is to go for that "happy" feeling. The guilt just isn't worth it. Even if I "just can't" get through a workout, I put on music and dance or something. Just to create and maintain a good habit. After awhile, you want to do it because it makes you feel good. If it doesn't, you might be over doing it... Start with something that feels good and progress as you can. Just be sure to eat enough or exercise doesn't make for happiness after awhile.

Thanks for the support guys...

im off my strict diet which i think is a lot of the problem. I ran out of money which meant i couldn't go through the maintenence program that they have... I was suddenly faced with all these foods that i wanted to eat and i just went for it. *shakes head shamefully*

The sad thing is.. i dont have a gym membership... and it costs £2 everytime i go.. I currently don't have enough money to pay my rent. :( Things are tight here...

Plus i got 10,000 words to research and write in the next few days.. gonna be tough. But anyways.. guess i will just have to wait and see.

22nd March

a bowl of pesto pasta with sweetcorn

Drinks:
2 cups of tea
1 cup of coffee
2.5ltrs of water

None so far

I see a pattern here.. too much tea and coffee.

Stick with it, girl! You don't have to have gym membership to exercise.
You can do calisthenics at home (pushups, squats, lunges, etc). You can buy some cheap weights or resistance bands and find exercises online. For cardio you can skip rope.

Also, you don't have to put all the exercise all at once. If you're studying, take 3 10-minutes breaks and exercise, and you'll get 30 minute workout in a day! And it will help you to think clearer!

Its an idea.. a friend of mine used to do things like squats, push ups, press ups when he needed a break from work. I used to think he was mad! hehe probably a good thing to do really. :)

Pinky, I totally understand how the situation can affect your progress, nothingtolose is right, you don't need a gym membership. I started out going to the gym for 8 months and life hit, then was faced with having to workout on my own at home. Honestly, I made more progress at home not waiting on machines, having to get ready and drive or most of all... I could really get into my workouts without worrying about what was going on around me. Make a corner, drawer or shelf with some workout gear of your choice, magazines or pictures that inspire you, good shoes and your water bottle. Commit to do anything at all for just five minutes. See if then you don't feel like doing more. Shouldn't cost much at all. If you would like, I would be happy to share with you a great and easy interval workout that didn't cost me anything but 30 minutes 3 times a week. As for food, healthy food does get expensive. I felt that sting too. Caused me to yo-yo for a bit. Ended up, I came online and found a ton of healthy recipes and then I modified them. Its a fun on going process but you can do the same with whatever you were eating that helped you lose weight. There is a healthy substitute for about everything. If you would like some ideas or help, just ask and I will be happy to help you.

Looks like you're doing good. Kind of low on food it seems, also watchout for those cookie snacks - they can pack unsuspectingly huge amound of calories. Also, try not to snack on sugary stuff, because it will make you hungry quicker.
