Only 15 but you got to start somewhere.

Hey everyone, I am currently 15 years old male from the UK and weigh about 144 lbs and am 5ft 9/10, according to the electronic scales I am currently at 15% body fat.

I am here because I want to improve my overall fitness and learn how I can maintain a healthy life style, when I was young i was quite skinny but then I ended up going through a stage and I became very 'plump', since the last year I have slowly becoming slimmer and getting away from my chubby past self as I have become more active taking part in sports and such. But as I am older now I want to get rid of any of the chub left over and develope some muscle.

My goal is to get to 10% body fat as I hear this is when the abs can visibly be seen.

I was hoping that I could get help from the guys and gals from this forum in how I can just get rid of this last bit of chub and how I can be healthier in general.

Thanks! ;D

edit

p.s, didnt know what to have for a username so that
was just the first thing that came to my head, lol.

welcome to the forum

at 15 you still have a fair bit of growing to do so don't panic about having 15% bf

I knew that people will say to me that I am only 15 and I still have alot of growing to do but I still wish to be healthier in the way I eat and the excercise I do.

Then don't focus on trying to lose weight specificly. Look at what you are eating and what you are doing and see what changes you can make. Think you are eating too much fast food? work on eating better choices. Please remember, you are still growing..take another look at your goals and the reason behind it.

I think this isn't so much the place for you as you should speak to your parents.

Hi, its great to know that you are so conscious about your health at 15.But don't be harsh on yourself as you are still growing up,instead adapt healthy eating habits cause that will help ypu in long term and eat nutritious food and exercise :)
Keep us updated, love life, take care :)
