Online PT

You could try the Mens Health one, i think you get a first month free. It's supposed to be quite good, but thats just what they say in their UK magazine lol.

What are your goals, and what do you hope to accomplish? What is your experience in the gym? Online personal training can be an excellent choice for some, a poor choice for others...

I am reasonably fit with a BF of 17.2% and I weigh 81KG. I'm 29

I used to do some upper body weights but at the moment I want to focus on shedding a bit of fat more than doing weights.

I have injured my ankle so am 4 weeks away from running again so I thought the bike must be the next best machine for cardio?

I would like some ideas on how much cardion I need to be doing and also get some ideas of a cardio program?

I'm also an online trainer, but my prices tend to be higher than most and I only take a set amount of new clients each month. LV is very knowledgeable! I agree :)

Anyone can PM me for more info about my stuff.

I am also an online trainer, but unfortunately I am not free.

If you'd like info on my rates and what my programs consist of, shoot me a PM.

I need a PT......My workouts--going great....cardio--going well......diet--sucks at times LOL.....but consistancy for me is a big deal. I need a PT to kick my ass in gear!! I need someone very knowledgeable. I'm on the hunt for that person with hopes to find one soon. :)

bipennate....you said that a PT can be a good choice for some, but may not be a good choice for others....(I think I got ya) but how would one know that?
btw...BigStew...did not know that you were a PT(maybe I have not been around here enough...lol).....awesome!

Online training is a bit of a trade off: you're paying less for the knowledge and expertise of the trainer (I charge less than half of my normal single session 1-on-1 fee for a week of programming and nutrition for my online clients), but you aren't going to receive the benefit of their ability to correct form and see movement disfunctions, in-person encouragement/motivation, etc, so anyone considering hiring an online trainer should be already at a certain level of ability and motivation.

Of course, the other fact to consider is that online training means that you have the ability to select and to train with some very highly qualified individuals, instead of being forced to rely on picking from the training staff at your gym, which can often times be less than knowledgeable, unfortunately. I have clients on both coasts (and everywhere in between), and even in three countries and two continents! Having a good relationship with your trainer is exceptionally important, and having the ability to choose from literally thousands of online trainers, with access to testimonials and their experience/history, is an exceptional advantage when choosing a "coach." :)
