looking to put on mass...not much...so is the yolks bad or good?
Well, my opinion differs from most because I don't believe in the cutting methods used by most everyone else.
That being said, if you are not concerned so much about that, and your cholesterol is held in check by eating all of your other foods healthy, whole, organic, etc....then the yolks are no big deal....after all, the whites actually offset the yolks for the most part in the cholesterol effect category. Unless you are downing a dozen every day for extended periods of time, it shouldn't be such a big deal.
Even if you had high cholesterol, we now know that you may live your normal lifespan with no ill effects. We also know from several studies those with high cholesterol tend to LIVE LONGER than people with normal cholesterol. -So needless to say, it can be a convoluted mess of a study, figuring out to yolk, or not to yolk.
My thinking is that if you keep your yolks down to 2 or 3 per day and keep your other stuff in line, you ought to be A-OK.
