Olive Oil Straight Up for Fat Intake?

I really don't have good fatty foods at the moment and I won't go to the supermarket probably till next week. I was wondering if I could have some Extra Virgin Olive Oil straight up to make up for my Fat deficit in my diet.

I dont mind the taste really.

The problem is that I'm doing the FitDay thing now... and so far this is my macronutrient proportion:

Calories Eaten Today
grams cals %total
Total: 1439
Fat: 15%
Carbs: 52%
Protein: 33%

I have a lot of carbs and hardly any fats

I've recently started FitDay as well. I have been eating cashews and 1% milk for most of my fats, but I guess if you don't have those I can't see how straight oil is any different than eating it on something. Olive oil is loaded with good fats.

I've done it. Olive oil is very beneficial for you. Knock yourself out. Buy a decent brand and you are in for a treat.

Balance of proper fats is just as important as good carbohydrates, if not more.

In a pinch it isn't a problem but I would make sure in the future to balance between Poly/Mono unsaturated and Saturated Fat correctly.
