Olive Garden finally broke down....

....and posted nutrition information!

This may not be as big a deal to anyone but me....but I'm thrilled. I lost my Texas Roadhouse due to no calorie information, but I've got Olive Garden back. Sure most of the stuff isn't good for me, but at least now I can tell what options on my "bad" days might be the best, and what I can eat all of, half of or, in most cases, NONE of.

The OG has had nutritional information available for a long time. The healthiest options are the Capellini Pomodoro (sub wheat pasta) or the Venetian Apricot Chicken. The Linguine Alla Marinara is healthy too, but too boring, go with the Cap Pom, you can even add grilled chicken.

Just stay away from the breadsticks, soups, and be careful with the salad. The dressing is high in fat/calories, along with the grated romano cheese and croutons. Even the Shrimp Primavera, which is one of the OG's "low-fat options" is over 800 calories.

I knew they had the "garden fare" options available, but not the entire menu. Dang...I thought I had something new!!!
