Ok ehh please read

Ok im on the pudgy side. But im weight lifting 6 times a week~ I take protien and creatine and I assume alot of carbs. Basically im workin out trying to gain muscle.

But here is what im stuck on, when your chunky and you weight lift, does it burn fat and turn it into muscle, or just burn fat..do I need to loose some weight in order to see my results?

Fat can't just turn into muscle. The more muscle you have the higher your RMR becomes, meaning you will burn more calories just sitting around doing nothing. I read somewhere for every pound of muscle you gain your RMR goes up as high as 50 cals, not sure how true that is though. A good diet, good lifting routine, and some little cardio will get rid of the fat, just give it time and don't give up. Not so sure about lifting 6 days a week though...

A lot of people have that misconception. They think the fat will turn into muscle, then when you stop working out the muscle will turn into fat. Muscle and fat are completely diff layers

i do 6 days a week too, just make sure you have a routine so that you dont do the same thing everyday and ruin yourself. For example, i have 2 workouts so that I get 1 day off on the main muscle groups.

Not saying it won't work, but you would probally get better gains if you only did 3-4 times a week. Do what you want....
