Started this latest journey officially on August 1st at 190lbs. Not my highest weight ever (That would 198 about 4 years ago).

My first goal is 170 by October 1st. (Trip to DC and then NY City)
My second goal is 155 by the end of the December (Wedding Dress Shopping)
My Third goal is 135 by my wedding June 20.

I'm currently at 180lbs--August 18th! That's 10 lbs in 18 days!
I've been eating smaller portions--trying to keep things around 1000-1200 calories a day. And I'm really proud of myself, I rarely feel hungry and I'm still eating food that I like.

I figured I'd start this off and use this "Diary" to log what I'm eating a day.

August 18, 2009
Breakfast: Graham Cracker--70 calories

Will update later :)

Tao,
welcome to your diary! Getting married is so exciting and I am sure you will look beautiful in your dress no matter how much you actually weigh for the big day.

However 1000 cals is too low and you will not be able to maintain that until your wedding in june. I recommend you read the stickies about nutrition and exercise, calculate your BMR and see how many calories you need to lose. I am sure it is MUCH higher than 1000! Then make your own plan! You don't need to follow everything in the stickies, but they sure are useful!

Personally I am going down from 135 to 120 right now and I am eating about 1500 cals every day. I have been losing nicely over the past few months like this.

I wish you all the best and will pop in to say hello every now and then, Camy
