Odd changes in my bowels since diet change, unsure what to think

For about the last 3 weeks I've been pooping much more frequently and its always green. It being green I just attribute to green tea since I drink over a gallon a day of the stuff, same time though I've been drinking it like that since December so it seems odd that it would just now start. The part that really concerns me is how little it is. Sorry for the visual, but I havnt passed a full sized stool in some time.

My diet consist of mostly eggs (cooked with olive oil), peppers, turkey, green tea and multivitamins. Is this change just some kind of late reaction to my diet or should I be concerned?

yes, things can be completely green on the way out as well...I realized this when I first tried spinach smoothies and naturally nobody mentioned the green-in & green-out effect :)

Willing to bet it's mostly due to the multivitamins. I started taking Women's One a Day and I had the same thing happen. I ended up not taking them anymore, too strong for me I guess.

I cannot comment on the green aspect of your problem...

As for the smaller stools aspect - I have to say the first thing that I thought of was the old wives tale of becoming egg bound from too many eggs - even though I know that this has been declared to be an old wives tale - lots of people are still convinced of it...

Looking at the rest of your diet though - it is possible that you are not having enough fibre or water...

Generally - it tends to be a good idea to use vegetables to fill up...

You say that you have been having lots of green tea - but that is not exactly the same as having lots of water... Even then it is not the same as having "enough" water...

I believe that green tea contains varying amount of caffeine (depending on brand)... if you have a lot of caffeine it acts as a diuretic and it makes it as if you are drinking less water - not more...

Whether we are having enough water varies by how big we are...

I would cut down on the green tea and drink more water...
