Obese Teen Gonna Be Thin!!!

Alright so I am just going to come out here now.
I am 18 years old and I have always been big! When in 9th grade I weighed 180 pounds and now I dream of that weight. I gained about 70 pounds in 6 months and have gained 10 more since then, give or take.
Honestly, I am not asking to be a stick thin model. Please! I want a little flab! Only healthy flab! I have boobs but no butt. I do have hips but I want to be evened out. I want to be a curvy girl! I WANT TO BE HEALTHY! They say pear shaped, I am an upsidedown pear. I am on the Herbalife program and it has been going well!
Here is a little bit about my stats:
Age 18
Weight 246.2
Starting Weight 261(OMG)
Obese
I am so excited to be healthy! I just want this one thing! I want to be feel good about myself and feel like I can conquer the world. My weight doesn't affect my social life... I have friends and I love them! I just finally want to love myself.
Please keep up with my posting every week. I will post my new weight and tell you all how my week went! Oh and Keep me to that!

Congrats on losing 15lbs so far, thats great. Keep posting and let us know how you're getting along. What does herbalife involve?

Herbalife is a HEALTHY way to lose weight. You take two shakes a day to lose weight and they are all soy based products! They have really great recipes too! You can go onto herbalife.com to find a distributor that lives close to you! If you decide to do it and she/he doesn't have recipes just let me know! My favorite is the Butterfinger!!! Delicious!

Hey Bee,
do you substitute meals with shakes? Or take them on the side? Are you going to exercise? How have you changed your lifestyle?

I am curious, because I think changeing one's lifestyle is the only way that will work for most of us. Your old lifestyle led to an obese body, so the new one needs to lead to a thin healthy body ;)!
For example I ate a lot, not in giant meals but in tons of snacks, didn't exercise at all, was sick (physically), which was my excuse to eat a lot and never exercise and just generally didn't take care of my body.
Then I changed everything, I changed my diet in a way that did not make me sick (I am allergic to a lot of things apparently), started exercising finding out that you only need an hour here and there to become fitter, I changed the way I looked and perceived food and exercise. Now I love to walk, I like going to the gym, I enjoy meals but don't gorge on them. And I am nearly skinny...

I am glad that herbalife is working for you, but you will need to make a few changes in your life, and so I wonder, which changes are you making?
If you need cheers or a kick in the a$$, people here are great, so I think you came to the right place!

I have started exercise but it is harder. I have to take it slowly or else I will hate it and quit it after a few days. I take the shakes as meal replacements so it really keeps me from overeating and I am full after too! I have been changing my lifestyle with eating out. I'm a vegetarian and it's really hard to get healthy protein from restaurants! I really am changing everything! Thank you Camy!

Alright So my week wasn't great!
I did lose though...I lost .2 pounds!
I was expecting more but really I'm just happy I didn't gain!
I did have a really good week though. Last night I was craving some chips like NO OTHER!
I had an apple instead! Woohoo!
I have not been so up in the exercise area of weight loss!
I am going to start it soon because I am almost done with school and finals are coming up... VERY STRESSFUL! I am a member of a club but I haven't been going. I'm thinking early in the morning will really make it work!

This is hard
I know that I have to keep to it though
Next week is my graduation, and you know what that means FOOD
It is just hard but I am sticking to my 2 shakes a day but dinner and snacking is getting harder
In the fall I am going off to school and I want most of my weight to be gone
What does everyone think is a realistic weight for me for the beginning of August?
I keep thinking I can lose all 80 but it's a little unrealistic. I am going to start exercising right when I get out of school because it is so hard now!
