Nutritarian Diet: The Self-Directed, Inexpensive, and Healthy Way To Lose Weight

Hey folks!

After watching a few documentaries and reading a few books, I've committed to a so-called nutritarian diet -- that is, a diet which focuses on the consumption of nutrient-dense foods. Since late June I've lost about 30 pounds on top of what I'd already lost just counting calories and exercising. I also feel much healthier in general. My skin glows, my energy level is crazy, and I no longer feel like a slave to cravings. In short, I'm eating a lot of fruit, vegetables, unrefined whole grains, and beans, I'm drinking plenty of water, and I'm exercising on a regular basis.

Diets don't need an associated product, a special secret method or an expensive program. They just need common sense and dedication. If you eat fresh, whole foods, your health will improve. If you have weight to lose, a switch to a healthy diet and regular exercise will result in weight loss 99% of the time.

I'm currently on a personal journey to lose 100 pounds, and I am 54% of the way there. I've decided to document my journey in the form of a new channel on YouTube: 34Percent. I'm posting one episode per week, and each episode will contain a wealth of information that I've picked up along the way. Check out youtube dot com slash 34Percent if you're interested!

And if not, I highly recommend watching Forks Over Knives (free on Netflix). I know many people whose lives have improved simply by watching that documentary.

Be well!
Matt
