Nutrigrain :S

Its not horrible, but its not good either. It has alot of sugar in it.

Some better choices would be..

Oatmeal (plain kind, but you can add a little something of your own to it)
Egg whites and wheat bread
High Fiber Protein cereals like Back to natures or Kashi.

If you must have a bar then grab a high protein meal replacement bar instead, while it still has a little sugar it has protein and breakdown better as far as sugar spikes go.

What i usually do is make a egg & cheese white omlette (if you need to get used to more egg white then use 1 egg for every 3 whites kind of thing).
Just whip it up, heat your pan to medium and cook on the bottom till bubbles slightly on the top, then pop into the oven on a high rack on broil, it will fluff up, when it does add the cheese and remove it from the pan. Pepper and salt to taste or whatever you like. Some like tabasco, ketchup. I just like that classics myself.
Use a skim or 2% cheese as well. Also you can add a slice or two of Whole Wheat toast with some spray butter (smart balance is best) and its is a very tasty meal or even a sandwhich if you want to throw it in between the bread.
