Here to astound and amaze you all as she attempts the impossible. A weight loss feat so dramatic that all known previous attempts have failed!
All previous aliases forgotten! The work of past attempts vanished!
Here she is Ladies and Gentlemen, as she takes to the stage... LYLITU!!"

Thank you, thank you, for your kind and gracious welcome back!

Let me start the show by telling you a little about myself!
I am Lylitu.. Not really, that's just a fantasy name I made to keep myself anonymous, but shhhh don't tell anyone!

I've been here before, under another name, many years ago! In fact so long ago only a few of you would remember even if I told you my name!

So sit back, relax, and I'll start right at the beginning

Many years ago, as a teenager, I was badly bullied for being fat. I joined weight watchers and lost a fair amount, and was skinny. I was a UK size 10 and I loved it. However I also loved food. Lots and lots of food!
Through many diets, gym memberships, relationships, illnesses, and years I eventually gained 6.5 stones. That's 91lbs, or about 41kg.

So I started again. At 16 stone 7 pounds, 231lbs, 105kg. And I swore I'd never be there again. That was nearly 2 years ago.

That brings me to today!
Well - a few days ago, when me and my fiance stepped on the scales and saw we were inching our way back up.

FH weight - 204lbs
Lylitu weight - 207lbs

Our lowest weights were 192lbs and 198lbs respectively.

So we're back on it. No more messing about. No more silly snacks.

We have wedding outfits to fit into for crying out loud!
I do not want to have flabby arms and look pregnant on my wedding day! Unless of course I am pregnant, but I don't want that yet either!


After a couple of days/week or so of being good, and mostly tracking our food we have begun to see progress already.

I can't guarantee I'll be on every day, I'm a shift worker including nights so it can get a bit hectic! I will try comment on our food and weights and general wellbeing.. Plus a sneaky bit of wedding planning :beating:

Welcome back ""Lylitu" :D & good luck! It will be less about luck & more about determination, planning & more determination. Congrats on the wedding plans. That's something very positive to look forward to & to look forward to looking good for. It's good that you have one another to keep on track. All the best!
 
So we had a day trip to Blackpool and ate far too much!
Mostly good stuff like sensible sandwiches, dates, cashews etc just too much of them.
Then we found out that this cereal we had been snacking on was horrendously bad for us, not even a little bit, really!!

So no more of that, and no crisps! We usually get one big bag, think Dorito size, a week or so between us and snack on either nothing or plain crackers/breadsticks.

So we're being good again! Went for a walk around town today, trying to up our exercise gradually! We've been far too dormant over winter.

Food:
Breakfast - Beans on toast and a glass of soy milk (410)
Lunch - Single slice of toast (130)
Tea - Homemade chickpea curry with basmati rice (600) cereal and custard for pudding (215)
Snacks - Dark chocolate (210)
Drinks - Coffee with vanilla soy milk (50), sparkling strawberry water (2)

Total - 1617

Goal is about 1800 daily for myself, a bit more for FH because he's a man and he's eaten slightly more than me today. Or maybe not. He didn't have cereal/custard, but did have a few crackers, so probably the same or less to be honest... Considerably less actually when I tracked it as he had no soy milk or extra coffee, so he's going to have some left over chilli to bring it up to about 1800. We're working on about a 2-500 calorie deficit not including exercise so should lose weight nice and slowly/steadily if we keep it up!
