Not Losing Weight

Hey, I kinda have a problem and was hoping you could help me out. Well I'm eating healthy - 5 meals a day with fruits, veggies, and proteins and I'm also jogging at nights for about 40 min 5 days a week. I was losing a lot of weight for about the first week and that was great, but for these past two weeks nothing has happened. I think I may have even gained a pound or two :( . The thing is though that I'm not doing anything different at all and I know I am eating healthy. No soda, fastfood, pizza or whatever. It's not just me either. My brother and I decided to lose weight together and he's having the same problem as me. Anyone got any ideas on what may be wrong?

perhaps u have reached that point where you have lost the "easy weight" but now u have cometo the part where its tougher to shed the other fat...this happens to everyone, i wouldnt give up, keep going maybe introduce some weights into ur program...this way u can build muscle and that will help burn fat as well...also read around, im sure someone has already had a similar problem and u can see what theyve done.

Eating too many calories can obviously slow down weight loss, but eating too few can inhibit weight loss as well.

(work the equation posted to determine caloric intake)

Then, I would recommend keeping a log of food intake to get a more accurate idea of exactly what you are eating. Try www.FitDay.com or www.MyPyramid.gov (both are free) or some other site that helps you to count your calories. It will give you a good idea of where you are doing well and where improvements can be made.

Also, as Tryin2bafitmoma said, adding in some strength training would definitely be beneficial.

i would switch the cardio to morning cuz once you sleep your metabolism from your running pretty much dies

you also must incorperate weights!!!! even if you dont want to get bulk, do high reps high sets of medium weights!1
