Not losing any

Hey,

I know I'm a big complainer and have no patience, but it's so weird. I've been doing at least 30 minutes of cardio each day at 5 miles per hour. Which equals to about 250 calories burnt at least. I can't say I've been eating really healthy but not out of control carbs. Like I have salami for breakfast and tuna and crackers for lunch, which seems pretty reasonable, yet I have not lost a single pound. In fact I've probably gained. My lowest ever is 134.5 and I'm 5'5. I'm currently at 138-140 depending if I check after a meal and so on. Anyways, I just want to know why I haven't even lost a pound or even half a pound. It's been about 2 weeks.

salami and crackers both seem pretty salty. water retension may be the answer for your weight gain. as for fat loss, if theres no noticable fat loss. then it may be the fact that your not eating right. you could possibly be eating too little, body goes into starvation mode, then you eat more the next day causing you to put on weight.

Okay, that sounds pretty reasonable, because salami is uber salty and I'm pretty sure the crackers don't help.

the more effort and energy you put in to fat loss the better the results will be, or faster anyway. and salami come on, use a little common sence now. that should go for the rest of your diet. if this is just the begining, you need to give it a little more time to start seeing results, there are alot of possabilities of why you havn't seen anything, but keep at it you will, if your doing it right.

what do u eat for dinner?

how much of salami do u eat for bfast? what about tuna and crackers? do u eat 'em until u feel full?

i eat like 5 slices of salami for bfast, and about 6 crackers that are covered in tuna for lunch. Usually for dinner, i eat quite a few carbs but not too much.

It looks like your not eating enough. 1200 calories a day is your absolute minimum and you should eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day, making sure to get some protein with every meal. Also are you drinking water? You should drink at least 100 ounces a day.

Are you taking any supplements? Is that something you would be willing to do? I am 5'5 and 130 lbs --- so it seems we kind of have some in common. I can tell you what I have been doing to try to keep the weight off if you are interested. I don't want to tell anyone to take anything if they don't want to though.

I've a lot more weight than you but i'm interested in what you have to say about supps...

I have been actively working out since January and I haven't lost a pound and I am very strict on my diet. It's just devastating.

I work out 5 days a week, cardio in the morning and lifting weights in the afternoon.

I am female, 5'5, 126lbs. I'd love to lose 10lbs.

I have been taking this stack for about a month or so

E- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/mp/vaso2.html
C- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/mp/ca.html
A- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ns/white.html

It is Ephedrine HCL 12.5 mg (not the one that was banned)
Caffeine Pill 200 mg and the White Willow bark is an Aspirin - you can take the stack without the aspirin but a couple people recommended it and I figured it couldn’t hurt to take it - so I did.

I take the stack (meaning one pill of each) at 6:30 am, 11:30am and then I take the stack without the caffeine around 4 or 4:30 pm - I don’t take the caffeine late in the day cuz then I have a problem sleeping.

I feel great and have lost 5-6 pounds. My workout consists of about 15 minutes cardio (sometimes longer but rarely) I have horrible eating habits, but I have really really tried to stay away from “fast food” - like at lunch time now I will eat a healthy choice lunch instead of ordering out (it was hard to do at first) but I stuck with it.

After cardio, I will do some weight training - but not any program or anything. I just try to make sure I do some “activity” everyday. I can’t get to the gym every day so I just try to be as active as I can.

This stack has really worked for me. I am also using a product called AB-solved where you rub it on your stomach -- it seems to be working also. But I just started that a week ago.

I am not a big believer in supplements (I used to be) but not anymore and I did a lot of research on this STACK -- it seems to really work and it seems to continuously work (ya know, not just for the first day :)

If you have anymore questions, feel free to PM me or post it here ---

In the morning, I wake up and do 30 minutes of cardio at 5 miles per hour. Then I have breakfast, which used to be salami but now I'll change it to tiny turkey slices. Then I go to work/school depending on time of year and so on and have lunch at around 12, which is leftovers from dinner or the tuna and crackers. The leftovers are usually protein so no worries there, but it's the crackers i'm worried about. Then at around 3:30 I have a snack that may be carbs or not. Then I have dinner at around 6:30 which consists of carbs and proteins but I hardly eat the carbs. After an hour or two I do 30 minutes of cardio again running at 5 miles per hour. That is my workout and meal plan everyday.

what mrsc is talking about is an ECA stack, if you were going to look into reading more about it thats the phrase you will need. and it is the most effective suppliment for weight loss, from what I know. but if your diet, cardio is not in check then it's good for nothing. as for you "fas" you might want to elaborate in a seperate post. listing you diet, cardio, any information you can provied and the people here will help you as best we can.

The portions of the salami aren't too much. Just 4-5 slices for breakfast. At lunch the portion is medium. Like today, i had half a thermos full of beef. Then at 3:30 today we had nachos (bleh) which was probably VERY bad. I had a tiny plate of nachos. And that's it so far today

Well, make sure you weigh yourself at the same time of the day. For example, like in the morning, after you poop, but before running.

Think it's harder for you to lose weight, cuz you dun have much to lose anyway. Maybe 10 lbs at most? So if you can help it, I suggest doing cardio also at night in addition to what you do in the morning. it's gonna be tough, but think it's worth a shot. ;)

do you eat any vegetables or fruits, salads, nuts, grains? i hate to say it but your diet sounds inconsistant and terrible. you need to find a decent balanced diet, IMO, and stick to it. maybe someone here can post some suggestions?

I like the carnation instant breakfast with fat free milk for breakfast :) Chocolate is good!

AND -- don't forget, you need to consume calories to lose weight. You do need a balanced diet -- I don't have a great one but I do make sure i take in the calories so that I can burn them :)
