Not enough calories?!?!?!?

Not sure if this is the correct spot for this.

I am having a difficult time taking in enough calories to reach my RMR + exercise without also taking in more fat and carbs.

I have a pretty strict exercising routine, and just find it hard to reach the goal. For example, my daily activities (living, breathing, showering, and all of my exercising can get to as high as 5300 for the day. Accounting for a deficit of 1000 calories per day that means I need to intake 4300 calories in a day. How on earth do I do that without raising the amount of carbs and fats, or, could it be a fair trade off considering the amount of "calories burned" I have??

Thanks.

Scott.

My father used to play american football at club level and would tell me how some of his team mates would eat 4-5 burgers in one sitting just to get enough calories. they trained hard though.

So long as you're not overestimating your calories I'd suggest you use nuts or seeds to make up a good portion of your deficit. calorie dense and very healthy for you.
