Hi all, I just joined and need some input.
I used to weigh close to 200 pounds (5 feet tall, female) but am currently at 162. I've been stalled for a long while (6 months) and in the past few weeks I've been tracking my calories at CalorieKing and realize I'm not eating enough calories. Average is right at 1200 per day.
I'm rather active with road cycling and exercising so I realize a problem. Unfortunately I live in a small town, and the only dietitian in town won't take me as a client because she "only helps people with diagnosed medical conditions like diabetes". I'm not anorexic or anything like that, I just literally feel full on less food. The past weekend I've eaten french fries from McD's just to up the calorie count. Obviously that's not a habut I want to start
So, I've done some research and the best I can figure is that I need to eat 1500-1800 cals a day. Any advice on upping my food intake? My mom is recommending taking a product like Ensure or eating a Balance Bar to get extra calories in.
Thoughts?
