Not a good week...

I'm just wondering what is the best time to exercise. I'm usually on Tony's Gazelle at 6:30 or 7 at night and on there for 90 minutes. I figure it's best since my metabolism has slowed down. I guess I just feel paranoid because even though the scale tells me I've lost 14 pounds...I don't feel like I have. I mean, I look at myself and am wondering where did I lose them from?

Also, is anyone taking a vitamin/dietary supplement? Like One-A-Day WeightSmart? I'm taking the Equate version as of yesterday. It has 32 mg of EGCG in it. I wondering if it will make a difference at all. I know I had the worst cramps I've ever had yesterday, the first day I took one, and I noticed that it has "added caffine". Maybe I should hold off taking them until my stupid period is over.

I'm also cutting down my exercise from 90 minutes to 60 this week for the same reason...and I feel sooo guilty for it. Like I'm looking for an excuse to cut down. :(

many people will say the best time to exercise is in the morning, but I say it's whatever time you get there and have some energy to put into it. I'm not a morning person, so I make it a plan to go after work. If I fought that and tried to go in the morning, I'd eventually not go at all!

Wow, 90 minutes is a very long exercise regimen for one machine! You may help your metabolism by using different machines that will challenge different muscle groups. Keep going, you're doing great!

I try to run as soon as I wake up, I find it gives you all day to stretch it out, instead of going to bed only a few hours after your done your workout

I couldn't agree with you more. You could have been writing this about me. I am so NOT a morning person and if I set up a program that included getting up early to exercise, I'd be OFF that program my tomorrow.

As far as one a day weight smart... you're better off drinking one cup of tea. I personally take a Centrum and a vitamin C before I go to bed and when I get to work I take a 1000mg Green Tea Complex supplement because EVERYONE in my office is SICKKKKKKKKK. I've yet to catch a cold this season but I've yet to see hard evidence that EGCG aids in weight loss in any very significant way especially in such a small amount.
