noob

Hi,
First of all it will be good to have support with my weight loss and, have people to answer my questions

so about me I am a 19 year old college student, 6'2" 215 lbs, i would like to get down to 175 or 180.

My last semester of High School i went from 245 to 215 and after i graduated i lost 30 lbs in 1 1/2 months and got down to 185 when i started on a pipe crew laying water main in a trench. I headed off to college and when i was living in the dorms i became fairly sedentary, it was a big shock to go from 10 hr constant workouts to bumming around campus. By the end of the year i was back up to 210. I was hoping that i would lose weight this last summer but we ate at a pizza buffet just about everyday for lunch.

Then i started school up again, and was put on a big dose of predisone and gained 15 lbs in 2 weeks. i suffered a serious shoulder injury in December and was unable to snowshoe and ski as much i would have liked. since January i have been trying to watch my diet and just recently joined a gym.

many of my friends here are bad examples and are obese. it is hard to get them to do fun stuff with me like backpack or hike.:(
