Hi everyone! Thanks for letting me join your forum. I'm not new to bulletin boards, and admit right up front I am here with an agenda. Soon the new year will begin, and the internet will be flooded with people looking for weight loss support. There is an insidious diet plan out there called Kimkins. It's dangerous, and it's based on fraud. The woman who owns and operates the website claims to have lost 198 pounds and never did. She promotes anorexic caloric levels, along with the use of laxatives and claims you can lose all the weight you want without exercise. I am trying to get the word out to as many as I can that this is a dangerous plan, and hopefully will spare someone the health problems that have been associated with it.

That said, I really do need a kick in my tush to get into exercising. I'll admit, I just don't like it, but I know I need it. I have about 100 pounds to lose, and the only thing that works for me is low carb. Actually, I lost 103 pounds low carbing in 2004-05. I stupidly thought I could get away with going back to eating like I used to. Big mistake, and I'm paying for it now.

You could start by creating a diary/journal. That will help you to keep track of your eating/excersizing habits,and make it easy for us to support you!!!
