Just wanted to say hello to all. :waving:

Today I begin my second weight loss journey. 3 years ago I lost 50 lbs. Today I went to Weight Watchers and to my great sadness I have gained back all the weight and .6 pounds. I'm not sure I have the strength to do it again.

I came here to find some support to help me stay on course. I did this once and hopefully with everyone's help I can do it again.

Welcome and gratz on the first step!

I'm sure you will find the information on the site informational, motivational and inspirational!

Hey there 2chubby. We have similar stories. Four years ago I lost 82 pounds on Weight Watchers and went back there last night to register again to learn that I had gained back all but 20 of it back. You will muster up the strength because there is, I've learned, a tremendously fantastic support system through this forum. I am also a newbie here and already I've gotten some great feedback, support, and motivation from lots of people. Keep reading and posting the threads...it's really motivational and helps to keep you focused.

I had a great day today with my points. I stayed on course and didn't go over and managed to drink 96 oz. of water. I didn't exercise but at least I stayed on program and am proud of myself for doing that. I even went to a Mexican restaurant with some friends for lunch today and didn't eat any of the freshly made tortilla chips that were placed right in front of me. (I surprised myself by that....chips and salsa are a weakness for me.)

Anyway, hang in there and never ever give up!!!

I'm here if you ever need some support, encouragement, or motivation....or just someone to talk to!

Shelby

Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome. It has only been 4 days and it is much harder than I remember. I'm not going to give up though.

Hey 2Chubby, you may want to try eating 6 more points per day than what WW recommends. If you're struggling with hunger, remember that those fruits and veggies are much more filling than most processed foods (even those 100 calorie snack packs).

It sounds a bit like you need to totally commit to being healthy and believe in yourself that you can do what's "right" for your health. If you don't commit, it will likely be more of a struggle.

From the admins here I can say good luck on your journey! If you are having any problems the mods are great on this forum and will be happy to help you along the way!
