no results...

hi ive been working out for several months now (mainly arms and torso area) and i havnt really been seeing any results...my theory is that i cant gain any muscle because i dont have enough body mass to convert into muscle (im skinny...) so today i went out and got some protein/weight gain shakes, w/e do u guys think this might do the trick? comment back

yes, i also want to see stats....i should think that body builders didn't comvert their fat into muscle, then got the body fat down and then the muscle increased.

im 16, 5'8 130lbs (i said i was skinny) ....i workout everyday, monday= arms and abs(dumbell curls and situps) ....tuesday= i do my chest(pushups)...ps. i dont go to the gym so yea im kinda limited my diet sorta sucks i guess.... breakfast i have an instant shake thing, lunch i usually eat pizza at school, then dinner i almost always have some type of meat...

I am assuming you are trying to get bit of muscles and mass?

You need to add more proteins and clean carbs in your diet.
Split your 3 meals into 5-6 meals.
Eat proteins and carbs rich snack post work out. Post work out your muscles are like sponges. Give them proteins and complex carbs.

Cut out any junk food or soda from your diet.

You said you go to gym every day but you talked about only Monday and Tuesday?

i dont go to the gym lol i mant that that was my pattern that i do (arms and abs on one day, then chest on the next day...then i just repeat the cycle over again) yea i just wanna beef up a little bit i have a few dumbells and i have the "weider workout machine" r machines any good? cuz ive heard some stuff about them

I would recommend taking at least one day off per week. Overworking can be destructive to your workout program. Building a good body is about 80% diet. So its not just the workout, you have to diet very well too. Keep that in mind.

ok could someone post me a good diet for breakfast lunch and dinner? plz keep in mind that im a 16 year old....i go to school...etc

No but I can tell you to check the healthy recipe section. There are plenty of members here that go to school as well. You can pack snacks with you because you need to be eating 5-6 times a day minimum. Do some more total body workout.
