Hey folks, I've recently completely restructured what I eat and I work out at least 5 days a week. This was three weeks ago when I started. I have been very strict thus far, no cheat meals, lots of water, and only healthy stuff.
I'm 6'2 about 215 at the moment, looking to drop to about 185 ish over the course of 3-6 months, afterward I get there I will adjust according to whether or not I still have excess fat. I would say I have a large frame, wide hip bones and pretty wide shoulders. I used to play high school sports which kept me in some level of shape. Anyway, that is a lot of info for the simple question I am going to ask.
Why isn't the weight coming off? I'm eating no less than 2000 calories a day, and no more than 2500. Exercising for about an hour a day half cardio half weights. I eat healthy things like fruits, vegies, lean meats, protein shake, brown rice, sweet potato, ect.
I know 3 weeks isn't a long time, but I have read several places that say you can see the change starting as soon as two weeks.
Thanks in advance for the advice
P.S. - The good thing about my new lifestyle is I feel so much better and full of energy than I used to, and that alone makes it worth it... would also like to lose some weight though
