No More Pain?

Right im 19 years old and for the last 2/3 months ive been working on my arms and chest. When I started out I was skinny and only weighed 9.8stones and through them 3 months ive been taking protein shakes and trying to eat as much as I can in a day (some times 3meals some times 5meals). Now with in the 3 months I have defiantly put on weight (from 9.8 to 10.5stones). Although I have lost my slim stomach, I have also put more meat in my arms and my chest stands out more.

Now ive reached a stage where I don’t feel pain after workouts.
Maybe just for that day I have a little pain but then its gone the next day. I thought it was the weight so I increased the weight, but doing so I can’t life as much reps e.g. before I would lift 10kg and do 8-10reps for 3 sets. Now I increased the weight to 11kg and I cant even do 6-7reps and I struggle with the 2nd set and don’t even each the third.

My workouts consists of only dubells - standing curls, Concentration Curls, Frotn raise, Lateral Raise and pushups.

So what am I suppose to do to try and get the balance right and get my arms in working gear again?
I WANT THE PAIN BACK :p

Hey there,

The best answer is: change your routine. Your muscles got used to the exercise you do. Try pushups and pullups/chinups. Join a local gym and use the machines there for variety.

Good Luck,

Roman

Right now im doing 3-5 exercises for each body part, so after a long time will that mean allll those exercises will become worthless for me?
