Hello all,

I found this site yesterday and wanted to introduce myself.

I have not had hard struggles with my weight in the past as others here have. However, I quit smoking a month ago (that's something I'm really proud of!) and have been eating a lot. Also, because my body doesn't have the stimulants it did while smoking, metabolism has slowed down! I do not want to gain a lot of weight as I know that would be just another temptation to smoke again!

Also, I have about 7 kg extra that I would really like to do away with forever. I have been trying out my "new lungs" at the gym and the exercise feels good for the first time in my life :)
 
Good on you for quitting smoking, that something I haven’t been able to bring myself to do yet. Welcome to the forum and good luck with the new you.
 
I gave up smoking recently, it is hard but worth it!

I am trying to lose weigh at the moment coz I have got a bit comfortable.
 
Hey All!!! I'm wokring towards a triathlon!! Im really excited about it and I've changed my diet significantly-- losing wieght, feeling great!! wooohoo
