Newie looking for some sculpting!

Hey guys.. so I've finally gotten so sick and tired of being over-weight and I'm diving into the challenge of doing something about it! I have always struggled with my weight and how to "tame" my body shape. I have a weird shape and basically.. imagine a upside down dorito! I have broad shoulders with smaller hips and I want to know what are the best exercises that I should do to make the most out of my body.

I have accepted that I will never look exactly how I want (without serious cosmetic surgery!), but I still want to be as close to that as possible! Please help!

Currently:

I run every morning for 30 minutes and it averages anywhere from 2-5 miles a day depending on the route I take. I want to tone up and slim down, please send pointers!

3. Exercise 3-5 times per week consisting of both cardio and resistance training depending on emphasis.
4. Do this for however the hell long it takes and dont whine about it being hard.

Haha, we could copy and paste this to just about every new thread. I'd add a percentage to #2, and maybe a link to fitday for #1

In all seriousness, though, how long has it been since you started running? For me, that's a total body workout. You may just have to give it some time.
