Hi there,

I tried to go on a diet so many times, and would last for a month the longest. But then i found this site and looked thrue before and after pic of someone who hit their target to loose weight and said to myself, come on you can do this. I put a lot of weight in the past few years and its definately a time to loose it now, because lately i had been feeling down, lazy, crashed all the time and i know its only due to my weight gain...
My weight is 92kg i think its 200 pounds, my BMI is 35.5!!!! And i'm only 5'2 and i'm 26 years of age.

I really need some motivation, for some reason its ok for me to stick to healthy eating during the week, but at a weekend, and expecially if i'll have few drinks i'll opt for fatty pizzas and take aways.

This is my first day,

Wish me luck, and thanks for this great forum:)

Well, I'm right here with you, I am 29 yrs old, 5'2", and 195 lbs and have also come to a point in my life where I am starting to crash and am just too tired to get off my butt. You are right, we can both do this! (I love the name! :) ) I also have the hardest time sticking to my diet on the weekend, but that is more because I am so busy with the kids that it is easier to grab the wrong thing than to take the time to eat right! If drinking brings that out in you I would say cut back on the drinking, at least until you learn to control your diet! I think this is going to be a learning process and we have to be open to changing a lot of the parts of our lives that have become habit to take off the weight we have put on and keep it off! I agree with a post I read from someone else, this is not just a diet, that is temporary, this is a life change!! Keep it up, you are already on the right path!!

Hi csurace,

You right we can do this!! And I want to change my ways of living too...
i want that energy, good health, great looks, better sleep.
So i can buy any clothes i want, not just the ones that fit me or cover up that tire around my waist:)
I want to be healthy, thats the main reason..

Weekends are tough for everyone. But you certainly can do this. Anyone CAN do this this. You just have to dig deep enough and find the real reasons you want it. Find what drives you.

I'd suggest reading through the stickies so you get some ideas of where to start.

And pre-planning your meals will go a long way in terms of adherence.

Above all else I want to be healthy as well, but looking good would definetly be a bonus :) !! I am tired of looking in the mirror and seeing a fat person looking back! And, as you said, it would be nice to be able to buy the clothes I want to! I do need to start planning out my meals better! I am very glad I got into this forum to help me get through this battle!!
