Hello all, I'm male, 20 years old and I'm currently fluctuating between 13 stone 7 and 14 stone.(more often 13st7) And I'm 5'8.
I've recently got sick of being the chubby one (especially seeing as 99% of my friends are super slim) and I've decided it's time to knuckle down and get back in to the shape I used to be when I was younger.


Goal: 11 stone 7 (2 stone)
Goal Date: January 1st 2014

My current diet has changed to something similar to this each day:

Breakfast: Shreddies with Semi-Skimmed Milk
Lunch: Spaghetti Bolognese
Dinner: Roast Chicken and Veg/Chicken and Rice

My problem is that I'm a student and it's hard not to go out and drink, and drinking makes it hard to lose weight. I'm trying to cut the drinking down to once a month.

Another problem is that I'm quite heavily asthmatic so 6 minutes on the treadmill at 10 kilometres per hour will send my heart rate too high.


Any calorie skipping tricks with the booze is much appreciated.
Any exercise tips for an asthmatic is also much appreciated!
 
For the drinking perhaps vodka water or straight shots to avoid the extra soda.

With the exercise you will need to be careful...try slower pace like walking and also do strength training.

Yeah I was thinking I could mix vodka with flavoured water etc.
I'm about to go on prescribed tablets tonight that mean I can only drink very little anyway, it's supposed to calm my asthma down so hopefully I can exercise like I could before my asthma went mental haha,

That's a good reason for not drinking if you don't really care if you drink or not. "I'm on meds where I'll get super sick if I drink :()"
Or again if you don't really care if you drink or not, but still want to go out an have fun...if you have your driver's license you could offer to be the DD. You still have fun, everyone gets home safe, and you don't worry about the extra calories of alcohol.

But, if you DO want to drink and just want to lower the calories you are drinking...drink doubles, or triples, or shots. Means less soda filler and empty calories. Or even the low calorie beers that they have now if you're a beer drinker.
