Good afternoon all (if anywhere other than Australia then Howdie)
My name is Steve, I am 32 years old, weigh about 110KG (242 lbs). I have been on the weight loss rollercoaster for about a year now on and off. My heaviest was 118kg (259.6 lbs) and lowest i reached was 99kg (217.8 lbs) and am 174cm tall.
I have read a few articles on this site and am inspired with some of the changes and can also relate to others who have the same problem as me. My main hurdle is motivation. When i was losing weight i would walk into my garage, workout and be happy about it for about 2 months then i would reward myself and the eating would start from there again, sitting on the couch and being lazy.
I tend to struggle with this alot so am looking for some ideas and ways not to fall in this trap again and again and again etc.
I have started training again and my routine is pretty much the same as it was, start of with weights (squats, chest, deadlifts, military press, curls and tricep pulldowns) then half an hour of intense bag work (muay thai) and do this about 5 times a week. I do mma once a week.
i am trying not to give up again, i will post some pics tonight when i go home.
Look forward to chatting.
Kind regards,
Steve
