Hi;
This is my first post on this forum and I look forward to getting to know the people here. I have struggled with weight ALL of my life and managed to keep it down until the last few years. I can't seem to get started on any type of weight loss plan. I tell myself since I blew it today I may as well pig out, enjoy myself and vow to start the next day. Then I lay awake most of the night too guilt ridden to sleep. The next day rolls around and I repeat the same behavior all over again.This has been going on for a year and I really ballooned up,( over 70 pounds). I just need to find a way out of the rut I have dug myself into.:banghead:

I know its really easy to give in one you've made an unhealthy choice for the day. Boy do I know!! But its better to tell yourself that sure, you messed up for lunch but you can be more healthy at dinner. If you get in the habit of "tomorrow I'll do better"....well, tomorrow never seems to come. But the good news is you can break this cycle. This is a very supportive board and everyone here is here to help. Good luck!

Try to remember one mistake is not as bad as a day of them. I too have the problem of say missing the gym for a day and then easily not go the next day becasue I missed the day before. I have joined her to get help with that accountabilty to myself.
