Hi Everyone,
I've been reading the various messages and am feeling encouraged. I want to lose weight to feel healthier. I have multiple health problems....asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Want to get out of this cycle. The asthma is holding me back from the excercising 'cause it's "excercise induced asthma"....but if I lost some weight, it would improve too. Getting there is the problem. I am 66, started weight problems after having my 4 children and being a "stay-at-home" Mom. When I was younger, I had no weight problems and ate anything I wanted. So, never learned control. I have a treadmill and have periods of time when I use it a lot, then drop off again. I am determined this time to succeed...and after seeing what other people here have done, it gives me hope. Bought a "portions control" plate and will starting using it today. Just trying "one day at a time".
