Hi Everyone,
It's very nice to meet you guys. I am Sara and I'm 24 years old. I came on here looking for a bit of insight from others and motivation. For the last couple of months I have been working hard to work on losing weight, not just for the sake of looking better, but for feeling better physically and emotionally. There are a lot of health problems in my family (heart, diabetes, cancer...you name it..) and I want to try and avoid that if at all possible. I started out at 231 lbs and a size 18/nearing 20. I am now a size 14 plus/15 in regular sizes depending on where I shop. I think it has definitely helped that I got a job at the gym I had been working out. I have also had the help of a personal trainer to guide me through this new passage and I've been very greatful.
I used to be an emotional eater. Anytime anything bad happened I ate and ate and ate but only felt better momentarily. I've recently been able to curb it and have put a stop to late night eating also. I usually exercise for about an hour and a half 4-5 days a week. The last couple of weeks though, due to a hectic schedule at work (3 split shifts a day four days a week) and moving into a new apartment has meant that I haven't felt like working out much and am looking to get that motivation back.
Thank you all!
