hi everyone! boy, am i glad i found all of you! i've been successful in losing a few pounds, but then my birthday hit in october and it seems it's all been downhill since then. plus, now, i have an injured foot and need to find other ways to exercise. i was way into walking and even started jogging a bit, but i can't do that now, so i'm hoping to gain a lot of motivation here, as well as gather a lot of information.
i work full-time and i also have two adorable daughter, they're 3 & 1.
so anyway - i'm glad to be here and i'm excited that i've found somewhere to come and read what others are experiencing that are trying to lose just like me! whoo hoo!

*OHD waves and shakes her pom poms* Welcome my fellow Carolinian! Good to see you and best of luck to you! I look forward to learning more about you and helping support you along the way. :)

thanks for the warm welcome, both of you! i was so excited to find this board, b/c as you both know, you have really great, motivational days and then you have days where the pizza calls your name and you just don't care! it's an uphill climb, so yeah - i'm glad i found this board!

Hello and welcome! It's so hard when you've got an injury to get moving. What about cycling? That's a no-impact exercise which is really good for you. If you want an interesting workout which you can do inside, check out , which despite it's weird name is a pretty good way of getting moving, and shouldn't be too hard on your feet. I do this less than they recommend, but it certainly gets the heart going!

Anyway, I wish you the best for your ongoing progress, you've done really well so far!

Welcome to the forum and feel free to start a diary so we can all visit and support you!
