Hey!
I'm new here...looking to get good tips and support.
I'm 33, 5'4" and weigh 128. I'm a mom of a 5 1/2 year old girl and 2 1/2 year old boy. I've been working out usually 5 days a week since my son turned 1. My favorite workouts are running (I try to do 3-5 miles a day -- 5 days a week) step-aerobics (my next fave when running isn't an option) and weight training. I'd consider myself to have a lean, athletic build...not too muscular, but nicely toned.
I've participated in a few organized runs. Mainly Race for the Cure 5K's. I did run the Boulder Bolder in Boulder, CO this past May. Proud to say my finish time was 56 minutes! Here are some pics from my run...
I loved it!
I work part time on the weekends as a radiology/CT tech, but am home with my kids for the rest of the week. My son and I drop off my daughter for school and head to the rec for an hour 1/2 to 2 hours. It's a good routine and keeps me going.
I look forward to getting great info here!
Shannon
