Hi everyone,
Firstly i just want to say what a fabulous forum this is and already i have been clicking the links for fitday to get an idea of what everyone is doing to get the best nutritional advice for their plans.
A little bit about me...
I have been doing the weight watchers plan since Jan 09 and had been going to the gym in preparation for my Race for Life run.
Also, i've been using Wii active and Wii, My fitness coach to get some variety of a workout.
In addition, i've also bought a home eliptical which needs alot more use than its been getting.
From early January to end of April 09, i lost 25lbs. I was using the gym 5-6 times per week and sticking for the most part to the points system.
In April, i went on holiday for 1 week and totally went off plan. Since then, i have struggled to get back to eating healthily, get back on the plan and keep up the exercise. I have gained 9lbs since April and can see previous efforts slipping away.
If i'm totally honest, i am sick of hearing myself say 'right this is it, i'm back on it' only to eat junk food, large portions and generally going back to how i was in the beginning.
As if health wasn't a good enough reason to keep my weight down and stick to a healthy way of living, i am also embarking on an IVF cycle in Feb 2010.
After 3 failed and 2 poor response cycles, the doc has specifically told me to lose weight. And i really want to do this for my ultimate goal.
I'm scared of the former me but i can see myself becoming her again.
I am here for help, advice and support and to give the same back to other members.
I hope i get to know lots of fellow weight loss and fitness friends
