Newbie to weightloss! Need support!

Hey everyone. I have been Stalking this site since dec 2010. I am only 5 feet and weighed 192lbs. I have never been this weight in my life. Im only 22! In the past 2 years somehow i have gained 40lbs. On jan 1st i took tips from this website and in a month I am now down to 179! 13 pounds in a month! I have an iphone so i can track every calorie i put in my body. It asks me my height and weight and my goal weight(120lbs). It then tells me how many calories to take in to reach my gw by oct 2010. It also calculates all thr nutritional facts and tells me how much of fat, sat fat, protein, sug, carbs, and fiber i consume a day as well as te percentages on my daily calorie intake they all are. I have never ever tried to diet or exercise in mY life. I was a cheerleader from ages 6-16. That was the extent of my exercise. I can remember being 112lbs in 9th grade and i cant believe i have gained so much weight. My average weight in hs was about 130-140lbs and i was still veryyy chubby. Also i dony know how muh this matters but i have a very large chest ( 38 e) and at only 5 feet it makes me look even larger!

Anyways, im here because i need motivation and support! Since jan 1st my daily calorie intake started at 1560 and now since ive lost weight it has become around 1420. I go to the gym
about 4 times a week. I just would like advice on what would me the most effective exercises for me. Im doing about 45 mins on treadmil doing 3.5 incline 3 for 3 mins and jogging 4.5-5 for 90 seconds. Then i do 30 mins on the arc trainer intervals again between 140 strides to 185 strides. Then i do light leg machines 2 times a week and light arms 2 times a week. I dont know what kind on weight training to do at all! I need tips!! I know this was long but any feedback would br amazing!!
 
Check out the sticky posts in the exercise area. I'd particularly recommend one called The Conceptual Side of Weight Lifting - it will help you to see how a basic routine that includes weights and cardio is set up.
 
Thanks!! My goal is so far away i just feel like its impossible. I have a trip to disney in may. If i stick to diet and exercise how much do you think it is possible to lose? Is what im doing sound like its a good start? Also I only drink water. I used to drink coke like it was my freakin job. Also no fast food. My weakness in mcnuggets! I eat 1420 cals of healthy food every day and workout 4-5 times a week. My goal just seems unreachable. What is the average someone loses a week or month. I have a feeling my 13 pound month was only because it was The beginning.
 
An average and safe rate of loss is around 1% of your body weight per week. For you that would mean about 1.5 - 2.0 lbs per week or so.

Probably the reason you lost much weight in the first month is that you cut sodas and other high sodium items from your diet and lost a lot of retained water. That's pretty normal.
