Newbie to forum and need more motivation for further weight loss!

Hello everyone! I've been losing weight for exactly a year now and I didn't quite get to my goal. I've lost almost 40 lbs. so far, and my goal has always been to lose 55. I've lost only 5 pounds in the last couple months. I'm afraid of gaining it all back, especially since I started college this fall and I am terrified of the freshman 15!! Help me get back on track!!
 
You don't gain weight automatically by becoming a freshman.... which you know. Just be cognizant of your behavior. Don't over indulge at the caf as most students do. It's the first time you've got all-you-can-eat at your fingertips. And don't get stuck in the rut of the lazy college afternoons and weekends consisting of booze and greasy food. College wouldn't be college without some booze, IMO, but balance the fun out with physical activity.

Congrats on your success so far. Starting college will be the true test of determination for you. Tell yourself today that you are going to do this, believe and focus on it..... and you'll do well.

Welcome! Congrats on your succes thus far and I'm sure you'll continue to lose weight. Like Steve says, the freshman 15 isn't mandatory. Find like minded friends to help keep you on track and enjoy your college experience. I'm kinda envious...you're at the beginning of your wondrous life journey!:party:
