newbie needing some motivation and tips :)

Hi,

I decided today that this is it, i'm starting again!! I'm 21 and would love to talk to anyone really about how they're getting on and share any tips we might have.

I've set myself small goals of losing a stone and a half and 1 dress size by new year. Last year i managed to lose 1 stone in a month with slimfast while i was in between work but since i have been back working some has gone back on and i've just sort of stayed the same. I work as a chambermaid so i'm running around all day but this doesn't seem to be enough. To try and keep me motivated i'm made a chart to weigh myself every week and one to measure my hips, thighs, bust and waist once a month, i have also filled the rest of my calander with targets for each month (e.g. this month my target is to do 3 hours exercise a week) and each day has section for each peice of equipment i have(stepper, rower and twister) so i can record how much exercise of each i do every day. Another thing i have done is start a food diary, again with monthly aims such as eat less chocolate so i can keep an eye on what sort of thing i'm eating too much of and when. Also going to start a diary so i can put down how i'm feeling and getting on so if i'm having any down days i can flick through and see that i can do it.


When i did slimfast i joined the forum on there and we each used to post on out weigh in days how much we'd lost and how we felt about the week and stuff so wondered if anyone fancied doing that with me? My weigh in day is going to be a wednesday seen as i started today and every 4 weeks i will post my inches as well.

Hey Gracie, welcome to the forum :) We actually have a diary section on this forum that a lot of us post on daily with our foods, feelings, exercise, etc and then other members post on our diaries to support us and give us advice, so that might be a good place for you to start! Good luck and welcome again!
 
Welcome to the forum, Gracie! Along with the diary section, you might be interested in the Club Challenges section, where people post their weigh ins, usually on a weekly basis.
