Hey ladies and gents,
I just joined this great forum recently, never got around to making an intro so here it is!

My name is Tina, I'm almost 19 years old (I live in Canada so that means I'll finally be legal! haha)
I am 5'3, my weight changes from 138-140 pounds! Soo it isn't all that stable. And I am aiming for 115-120 (20-25 lbs) but I will not be checking the scale, I'll be keeping track by measurements and just by looking at myself in the mirror! (that sounds kinda conceited? but you get the point! :p)
Honestly, with clothes on I look average but without clothes it's just.. NOT. GOOD. AT. ALL. lol so being comfortable in my own skin is definitely the most important thing.. WITH AND WITHOUT CLOTHES!

Bottom line, I don't wanna feel like shit about myself. I have a lot of insecurities so me being that way doesn't help all that much. I've gained a few pounds in the last 3 years- I wanna change that!

I basically started this 'trying to get in shape routine' on Monday, May 31st/10 so today is my 4th day! What's great is that my sister is also doing this with me, we're supporting each other, having meals together and exercising together. Makes it a bit easier doing it together for sure!

Crap, I thought I'd keep this short but that's obviously not the case HAHA.
Anyway... I'll be updating this with what I've eaten every so often. I'd love some support and if you guys have any tips, recipes or questions, feel free to write them away! I'm here to support as well, after all.. we're here for the same reasons so we'll definitely relate to one another!

Ok so I've been writing things down in a journal about the food I've consumed and my workouts.
Here it is!

Monday:
B- Fibre-1 honey and cluster cereal + 4 strawberries
S- cut up cantaloupe and honeydew
L- Tuna salad and 1 slice whole grain toast with tuna
D- Turkey wrap with veggies and some cheese + honey mustard
S- half of a blueberry and banana shake

Exercise: 1 hr cardio

Tuesday:

S- celery sticks and baby carrots
L- half egg + eggwhites with veggies, turkey and 1 slice whole grain toast

And just so you know, I drink so much water! Probably like 8-10 glasses a day, maybe even more. I've been craving sweets but I've been fighting it!
So that's it for now!! Hope to hear from all of you :)

Welcome, Cee. I look forward to seeing all your progress, it sounds like you have had an amazing start. Keep it up ;)

The sweet craving is hard to get over as a western society we are addicted to sugar it adds no nutritional benefit just got to stay clear, try eating a little more protein maybe in your breakfast this will keep you full longer and please your sweet craving with some natural sugar with fruit.

Thank you for your input :) ^

anywhooo, today I kinda cheated? Wasn't the worst, but definitely wasn't the best at all.

I'll start with where I left off.

Friday:

D- veggie soup

wasn't hungry this day, wasn't feeling too good.
No exercise- rest day.

Monday: (today) yikes.... :/ :(

S- fruit salad (cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon)
L- leftover chili and cornbread
D- 2 chicken thigh/legs with tzatziki dip
