hello my name is Halfpint or just call me HP.
any way iam new to this forum& i want to lose 35 pounds by aug 9,
which is also my b-day.& iam going to see my fav band that day to, i have been walking love to walk. i wieghed my self yesterday&was not happy at all.

my work is having biggset loser competiotn so iam signing up for that. it starts june10 til sept 2.

that's where i found this forum they had websites on the paper.& here is where i ended up.

what are your current stats
Height/weight/age/gender

35lbs in 2 months might not be a realistic goal...

A reasonable weight loss goal to shoot for is 1 percent of your body weight a week -and consistent habits with food intake and exercise are what will gete you there..

i guess i wasn't thinking about 35 pounds in 2 months time flies by so fast.

I am a female iam 4'11 and weigh 147.& iam 33 yr. ok i will put my goal at 15 pounds.

i have ab lounge machine but don't use it but iam going to start,&aim going to start waking which i have been,

the ab lounge isn't going to really do a lot for you...

walking will be good... and controlling what you're eating will be the most critical thing..

Get an account at or one of hte 100s of free sites on the web and keep track (accurately) of everything that you put in your mouth.. Learning how to measure portions is your best defense in weight loss.

Thanks for your help. i will do that. what helps getting rid of belly fat. i have had 2 c-section&having trouble losing the fat.

If you'd spend some time reading the stickied threads - you'd learn that spot reducing isn't possible and fat will come off where it comes off - and it takes consistent behavior to make that happen.. but it will eventually happen...
