Hi,

I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 47 yrs old, and I'm working my butt off to get myself in shape! I have been doing my best to make healthier choices and cut calories. I've been following a low fat / low calorie diet. Eating 5-6 small meals a day and getting myself in gear. I work out at least 5 days a week. I've been doing cardio and lifting light weights. I know I'm doing something because I've been losing inches, but that darn scale won't move for squat! I usually chat at . I belong to a team over there and we are following body for life for women. I'm getting frustrated with the scale. I'm thinking of changing my food plan and see if that does anything.
Nice to meet you,
Lace

I feel your pain. Stupid scale! I have been keeping myself motivated by really focusing on all of the other good stuff that is happening because of the healthy eating and exercise. I truly believe that eventually the scale will catch up, if I just keep going. Welcome to the forum!

So far my scales have been moving along quite nicely but I'm sure I will find they get stuck somewhere along way; everybody seems to sooner or later.

But congrats on losing the inches... that's what matters anyway right? (I wouldn't really care what the scales said as long as I looked lovely and slim!) People will see your waist not your scales. So try not to be discouraged... you are still shaping up. :)

Oh and welcome. :D

That's always hard....just remember that the scale doesn't measure fat, it measures body mass......so you're actually toning muscle! It's easy to get discouraged, but you're doing great! :) Keep it up!
