Stopping by to say hello to everyone and read a little about your success, stories and hopefully get some pointers, suggestions, ideas, and just to make some friends etc.
I have been on the LA Weight Loss program for 9 wks already and I think I have been taking for a ride once again by weight loss programs, have only 6 lbs, which is super discouraging, and depressing, because I personally think I am following it pretty good, and still nothing... Have been on diets ever since I can remember, with no luck, I am 52 yrs old, so my children are grown and on their own, have 60 lbs to loose, and for some reason it is becoming harder and harder, I am 5;01 and my weight is constantly fluctuating from 190 to 198, up and down, up and down, can't get out of the 190s at all. I try to eat pretty good, starch (cereal) Kashi with skim milk and fruit for breakfast, mid morning, V8 and 1/2 protein bar, lunch usually salad with tuna fish or chicken breast and another V8, mid afternoon, 1/2 protein bar and fruit, before dinner a whole protein bar, dinner any meat (protein) with vegetables, and fruit, later snack fruit. So, I think I am eating good, just don't know why this weight won't budge. Any suggestions, pls don't say exercise, that is a major bad word for me :confused: Is anyone outthere also on the LA Weight Loss Program that has worked for them?, I am begining to feel real bad about this program that was actually not very cheap.
 
Welcome to the forum Loly! I've never tired LA Weightloss so I'm no help there. I've been losing my weight the old fashioned way - diet & exercise. Hopefully you find some information around here that will help. Good Luck!! :D:D:D

You can loose weight w/o the program i'm sure, esp. if you dont' think its working for you.
 
Thank you for the warm welcomes.....I am still hoping, I will not give up, i have to loose these 60 lbs one way or another.... I will not go back to my old eating habits, once in a while I do slip but I do get back on it again the following day, at work is kind of hard, because every week there someone's birthday and we celebrate by taking them to lunch, usually chinese, then every holiday we have a potluck lunch, so it is so hard those days, i just try to then be good the rest of the day and leave the eating to a minimum.....but is pretty hard.

Although old-fashioned way of weight loss, it's working wonders! and I absolutely agree with this kind of weight loss...u go girl...

Oh Pooey....

I cannot get out of the 190s either! I have a lot of friends that say that the LA Weightloss program has worked wonders for them! So I started....today. Drinkin that starter drink....anyway, I'm kind of sad that it's not working for you. Remember, they guarantee results, so you can get everything back except for the $150 right? Best wishes with loosing your weight!
 
There was a time in August that I was stuck in the 190's....but I endured the agony of that wretched scale and I pushed on and now I'm looking forward to seeing the 160's sometime in the next week. Losing weight takes time, and for some it takes a little longer. Keep pushing yourself and soon enough you'll be seeing the 180's---I know it!! Don't give up, don't give in....press forward.
