Hi Everyone! First let me state that I am SOOOOOOOOoooooo impressed by the strong sense of community here, and how honest and supportive the members are of each other. Its about 1:30 AM, so I will make this short. So far over the past 6 weeks I have lost about 20 pounds. This is probably the seventh or eighth time in my life I have attempted a significant weight loss, but the FIRST time I am actually fully committed and doing it the right way. In a nutshell, no fad diet, no burnout at the gym... just eating the right foods and going to the gym 3-4 times a week. Trying to set myself up for success, and with will power, the support of my friends and family, and NOW this website, I can see myself at my target weight in less then 18 months. Wahoo.

I am 28 years old, and hope to be in the best shape of my life at 29!

(I am going to make a duplicate post in the newbie section because I have yet to introduce myself there) :banghead:

Me at my highest weight @ 306.8 (I'll explain the handcuffs in another post, LOL)

Awesome work man. As long as you know this time it's for you, for the rest of your life and not something you expect to happen overnight, you will succeed. Great work so far and remember that diet is the most important thing. Cut out the junk and drink plenty of water. I'll keep an eye on ya. Keep it up and again congrats on the progress so far. It took me 9 weeks to drop my first 20.
