Newbie here needs some advise !

Hi there, I am 27 years old 6' tall and 150 pounds ( small i know) and I would like to start working out to build some muscle and plain old weight, now I have seen that how you eat is huge and I have all the info I need on that but I would like some advise on the best way to gain muscle mass from a workout..... if anyone can give me any routine tips or specific lifts to do , I am all ears...
