Just wanted to drop by and say hello!
I'm another newbie here and well.. I hope to become a regular and I hope to lose some weight! heh
This is going to ramble on a bit so.. pardon me :p heh

Uhm.. where to start.
Well I'm 26 and currently weigh 232. Now that might not be a bad weight for a heavyweight boxer... but for a girl that's only 5'2".... it's a big problem.

Of course I've tryed to lose weight before and of course have failed.
I think I need a regular place to go to just spill my guts. To be surrounded by people who are going through the same things as I am.. ya know?

I think I've just been in total denial about how big I am. Well.. I was in denial until a few months ago when I found out that I now outweigh my bf... *sigh*

I wish I could say that I weigh so much b/c I've had kids.. or b/c I've been sick or some other excuse... but I'm this big b/c I eat too much of the wrong stuff and don't exercise. It's just that simple.

So anywho... I'm starting back up exercising and going to once again start counting my calories.
We just went out today and bought one of those ab roller things to help me with my crunches.. so I'll be doing that while I'm watching some tv instead of just sitting there like a lump heh.

Aaand yeah.... sooo I'll stop rambling on and on now cause it's late and I need some sleep :)
This seems like a great place and I hope to get to know everyone better!

Denial is an evil thing.. i think if id have caught my weight a few years ago it would have come off quicker! then again im only 17 so its not too late! Isn't it strange that you can tell yourself nothing is wrong.. and then you get those horrible reality checks.. god i hate them.. anyway! im rambling too now, but it would be nice to get to know you :)

Better late then never:) Glad that you are on your way to a healthier lifestlye. If you haven't already; You should start a journal and keep track of what you eat and activitys and how you feel . Everyone here are super great. Just make yourself right at home. Don't get dicourged if you don't lose weight as fast as you want. Cause then you'll just wanna quit. So good luck to you and hope to hear from you soon.
