Newbie here ? about lifting?, m

Hi Hope to get some great answeres here. I am fairly new to lifting weights, I like it. I do 3 sets of 14 pull downs, then 3 sets of bench presses, and 3 sets of sholder presses. Not alot but I like it. I want to them everyday, tell me why I can or can Not do this? I don't understand why if it is just that little bit, doing it everyday would hurt? Thanks so much!:p
 
You must allow your muscles to rest properly. Muscle atrophy (wasting away of the muscle) sets in from overuse. Nothing should be done everyday, not even cardio, yet people do and they see no change what so ever. Your muscles have memory, if they memorize it and you don't change the routine how will they? Are you only interested in your shoulders and chest? If you are seriouse about a fitness plan you should talk to a trainer or someone qualified that you can see personally and hands on.
 
i reckon if you want endurance, and you find that you keep getting stronger, than its fine.

14 reps everyday is more endurance than muscle building, and as long as you can keep doing more reps or same reps with greater weight every week or so, and your sleeping and eating alright blah blah. then your body is telling you its working.

everyones body and recovery time are different.

you'll find on these boards people always like to say what works for them must be the same for everone else, but its not. Some people can even muscle build on high reps. Just see what your body is telling you.
