Hello everyone :) Sorry this post is really long...

I'm new to this forum (obviously :blush5:). I am a 21 year old Female (22 on the 22nd of September) :). I have always kind of struggled with my weight, being the biggest in my family. At the age of 17 I was about 135 pounds, I felt it was an OK weight until I started to get teased. I tried to lose weight but was never really successful. At the age of 19 I met my boyfriend and went on the birth control pill and gained about 43 pounds . So currently I weigh 178 pounds. I would like to lose 63 pound to reach my goal of 115 pounds. (impressive math huh? ;))

I recently graduated college:hurray: but have yet to find a job :). This can be seen as a positive cause I plan on started to go to the gym during the week. It is however really stressful as well. My boyfriend and I want to buy a house soon and not having a job kinda puts that to a stop. Currently we live in his mothers basement :banghead: (but we won't get into that). To say the least, it stresses me out living here and I would love to move out. I know that's not an option right now so I will try to make the best of it. The thing I am really nervous about is the fact that when I do get a job I'm afraid I will be so overwhelmed about changing my routine and finding time to work out. Ten buying a house on top of that:eek: (even though I don't have a routine to speak of just yet lol). The thought of loosing 63 pounds really scares me because it is a lot. I'm not really sure where to start, so any suggestions would be very welcome.

Again sorry for the long post, but thanks if you took the time to read it!:beating:

Hi, welcome!! I am also new here and need motivation. I have more to lose at about 80 pounds. BUT I think the first thing you need to do is set smaller goals like 5 pounds, then another 5 etc. 63 can seem overwhelming to think about!

When you are thinking about everyrthing together it can also seem overwhelming. Try to think of your weight loss journey as 1 day at a time.

Hopefully everything else will fall into place!!

Good luck with the job search and also getting out of your boyfriends mothers basement! I couldnt imagine living with my mother in law..... That would be aweful!! lol!

Thank you for the advice I will definitly do that! :) And welcome to you to :p I'm glad to know i'm not the only one with MIL issues lol
