Hi guys! I'm Lynn, almost 20 years old. I live in Massachusetts. I don't know what else to tell you unless you ask. :) I'm glad to be here!:newbie:
 
Well I'm 5'3", 192. I'm hoping to lose about 25 pounds by Christmas and then some. I've tried my own strategies that worked in the past, mostly my food journal, but after a while, I forgot about doing it and I got off track after 20 lbs. This was a few years ago, back in 2003 I believe. From January to May (2003) I lost 20 lbs. I was a 22 when I started. When I got to college (Sept. 2004) I was an 18. Last summer I went down to a 14 (that's in the Levi Strauss brand- at Rave- probably 100 :))and have plateaued since. This past summer I decided to cut out a lot of the sugar I was consuming. Instead of an Iced coffee with extra cream and sugar, I opted for iced tea with lemon and Splenda. I've gotten used to diet sodas, too, oddly enough. I did lose a few pounds by cutting out the sugar, but I know that's not the only thing that will help me.
