hi i am new and am just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to weigh myself in the future as i heard that things like clothing and time of day can affect your results. So if anyone could give me some feedback on how they do it that would be most appreciated.
 
what tony said is pretty much what I do -

generally right before I get in the shower in the am... after using the toilet.. that way you don't account for clothes or shoes or anything...

However you decide to weigh yourself - just be consistent - do it the same time wearing the same thing (or nothing) on a regular basis...
 
I do it the same way -- I get out of bed, go pee, and jump on the scale wearing nuttin' at all. Since I get up at the same time almost every morning, the time of day is consistent.
